For businesses
What does it cost?
The first month is free, and no credit card is needed. After that, choose a monthly plan or pay per result. Founding businesses agree the price with us.
Who pays my partners?
You do, directly, the way you already pay people. Then you record it. ClearCut Commissions never holds or moves money.
Can you set it up with me?
Yes. Book a free 30-minute setup session and we set up your rates, your wording and your partner invites with you.
Can I use my own partner agreement?
Yes. Use your own, or start from the starter wording and have your own lawyer review it.
Can my booking form record referrals automatically?
Yes, through the API. You can also record them yourself in the admin.
What about year-end?
You get totals per partner, with a flag for your accountant where a T4A slip may be needed. We do not give tax advice.
What kinds of rates can I set?
Several milestones, repeating payments, start and end dates, and a refund rule you choose up front.
Do you vet the businesses?
We check each business exists and its program reads clearly before it goes live. We don't vouch for its products or services.
What happens if a customer gets a refund?
Each program sets its refund rule up front, and it can't change once referrals arrive.
Can I run more than one program?
Yes. Each program has its own terms and its own partners.
For referral partners
Is it free for partners?
Yes. It is free for referral partners.
Do I have to sell?
Not in an introductions program. You share a link or code; the business handles every conversation.
How do partners get paid?
Directly by the business. Your private statement shows what you've earned and when it's due.
Do I need a business to be a partner?
No. Anyone 18 or older can be a referral partner: a person, a group, a charity or a company.
Can I refer my own family?
Referring yourself or your own household doesn't count unless the business agrees in writing.
When do partners get paid?
When the program's terms say. Each program shows when an amount is earned and how many days the business has to pay.
What if an entry looks wrong?
Contact the business first. Every entry and correction stays on the record, so you're both looking at the same history.
Who sees my information?
Businesses you apply to see your profile. Once they approve you, they also see your legal name and payment details so they can pay you. Your public page is off unless you turn it on.
For charities
Can our charity take part?
Yes. We set up charities one at a time, so talk to us first, and please check with your own advisors.
Can a business donate for each customer?
Yes. A business can pledge a donation for every customer its partners bring in.
